The delivery fees change based on your delivery preference. As you shop, the delivery fee is always viewable in your cart. Here's a breakdown of what to expect:

Farm Driver Delivery: $10 (with FREE delivery on orders over $175)

UPS 1-Day Ground: $25 (with FREE delivery on orders over $125)
for CT, DC, DE, MD, NJ, PA, VA

UPS 2-Day Ground: $25 (with FREE delivery on orders over $150)
for AL, FL, GA, IL, IA, IN, KY, MA, ME, MI, NC, NH, NY, OH, RI, SC, TN, VT, WI, WV

UPS 2-Day Air: $6.95/lb

Group Pickup: It depends. We offer free or reduced delivery. Rates vary from group to group, but it's generally very affordable.

After you place an order, simply login anytime before your upcoming deadline and add or remove items from an existing order. There's no button to press and you will not received a confirmation email for changes you make. Whatever is in your cart when the deadline passes will be what's sent to the farmer.

We accept all major credit/debit cards as our sole payment method. At the time of placing your first order you will be prompted to add a credit card to your account. You can update your cards anytime by going to Menu --> Account --> Credit Cards.

Your card is not charged when you place your order. Because many items are charged by the pound, we will not know your exact total until order is packed. Once your order is packed, your card will be charged. This usually happens 1-3 days before you receive your order.

For UPS Ground Home Delivery: $50 order minimum. No order maximum.

For UPS Air Home Delivery: $75 order minimum. No order maximum.

Order deadlines are 2-4 days prior to the delivery date. When logged in, your next order deadline is at the top of every page.

When you login and choose a delivery preference, the delivery/pickup date appears at the top of every page. Here are some notes specific to each delivery preference.

Farm Driver Delivery: If you add your mobile number to your account, you will receive text updates with your estimated delivery time and a text when your order is delivered.

UPS Home Delivery: You will receive a tracking number via email when your order is shipped. Once the order leaves the farm, it's in UPS's hands. That's why we say "within a day of" the delivery day. We always hope for prompt delivery, but it does change based on the weather, holidays, and UPS package volume.

Group Pickup: You will get a specific delivery day and pickup time at checkout and in all order emails to follow. If anything changes, we will absolutely let you know via email.

Farm Driver Delivery: No problem! Please leave a cooler out or leave a note with instructions for the driver. You could also include your instructions in the checkout notes. Your notes will be printed on your invoice.

UPS Home Delivery: Don't fret. The UPS driver will leave your order in an insulated box in the most appropriate location he/she can find (front steps, patio, etc). Once you arrive home, we ask that you would unpack your items as soon as you can. If you have special instructions, let us know where the box should be left in the checkout notes. Your notes will be printed on the shipping label.

Group Pickup: Once the order deadline passes, you cannot cancel your order. But, you can have a friend pick up for you. Just be sure to fill them in on the pickup procedures and check your order when you receive it. Also, once you receive your order, please check it against your emailed receipt.

Farm Driver Delivery: Your order will be packed with minimal packaging in a cardboard box. It will be transported in a refrigerated van.

UPS Home Delivery: Products are carefully packaged in a cardboard cooler with plenty of compostable insulation, compostable bags, and drain safe ice packs to keep your food fresh... even if you’re not home when we deliver. Please unpack your order on the day it arrives. Any freshly thawed items can either be refrigerated or refrozen for later use.

Group Pickup: Your items will be packed in big coolers or cardboard boxes with super minimal packaging. There will be plenty of ice or drain safe ice packs to keep your food fresh while it waits for you to pick up. Milk containers may be loose. Fresh and frozen items may be bagged/boxed separately. All meat items come individually packaged and frozen.

Arrive at the pickup location during your scheduled time window. We have a self-service system. All you need to do is check all coolers and make sure you take all of your food.

We encourage you to bring a copy of your order's confirmation email or have it accessible on your phone. We suggest that you bring bags to carry your items. You will not need a cooler unless you are traveling more than an hour.

It is your responsibility to pick up your order at the time provided. If your products are missing, it's on us. If you do not pick up during the appropriate time, the farm cannot be responsible for missing or spoiled items.

If you get Farm Driver Delivery or pickup at one of our locations, yes, you can! Put your clean glass and egg cartons in a bag. Give it to the farm driver, or leave it in or next to a cooler when picking up.

You unfortunately cannot return glass or egg cartons if you get UPS Home Delivery. It's simply not worth paying for return shipping.

Nearly all of our packaging is biodegradable and most is even compostable!

The cardboard is recyclable. The bags are compostable. And the ice packs are drain safe.

We're sorry. We are not able to accommodate packaging returns. If you'd like to have your packaging re-used, you could try donating it to your local soup kitchens and food pantries, which often use cardboard coolers and ice packs to transport perishable food.

Feel free to add to or edit your order anytime before the order deadline. You will not get a confirmation email for changes made. You can only place one order for each order cycle.

The farmer has a strict "no late orders" policy. If you miss the order deadline, your order will not be available under the following order cycle. Once the order deadline passes, you cannot change or cancel your order. This is how we can get you the freshest, highest quality products.

Since many items are priced by the pound, if you ordered something sold by the pound, your final total may be a little more or less than your order's initial estimated total. Once finalized, your total will be charged to your credit card on file and your receipt will be emailed. It's farm policy to match the weight over the number of packs in a bundle.

Also keep in mind that all of our products are small batch items. This means that they may go out of stock quickly. We do have inventory mixups from time to time. If something is omitted from your order, you will not be charged for it.

Once your card is charged, you will received a final order email. This is where you can see exactly what you were charged and for what. If any edits are made, there will be a note on that email about the changes.

We pack your food with great care and stick to a strict and reliable schedule.

If picking up, it is your responsibility to pick up your order within the window of time provided. If your products are missing, it's on us. If you do not pick up during the appropriate time, the farm cannot be responsible for missing or spoiled items.

In the rare case we're running late or anything changes with your order or delivery, we will send you an email giving you a heads up.
