Our hot dogs should last up to a year in the freezer. Once thawed, they'll keep for about 2 weeks in the fridge before they spoil. Keep in mind that, once the package is opened, there are so many variables that can affect shelf life (contaminants getting in, etc). The dogs are fully cooked!
You can slow thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Or quick thaw in a bowl of cold water, changing the water every 20-30 minutes until thawed.

Hot dogs cook up fast and are super versatile. Of course, the classic way to eat a hot dog is on a bun smothered with mustard (or ketchup) and piled high with sauerkraut...yum! But, there's lots of ways to eat hot dogs. Try them seared and sliced with some Mac and cheese. Or, slice and wrap with puff pastry for pigs in a blanket!

Our pigs are raised in the woods. In addition to the nuts and roots and other foraged foods they find solo, the pigs are fed lots of skim milk and a corn & soy free feed. The feed contains a blend of peas, fish meal, seashell flour, alfalfa meal, wheat middlings, kelp, probiotics, vitamins, and minerals.

What breed are your pigs?
Our pigs are heritage breeds: Berkshire, Duroc, Red Waddle, and Black Crosses.
Do your pigs get mRNA vaccines?
Nope! At Miller's, it's a hard no for mRNA vaccines. None of our animals have or will get them. While we're on the topic, none of our farmers vaccinate their animals at all!
