Family Farmstead's main farm is nestled in the rolling hills of central New York, where they currently milk 45 cows on 158 acres. Tom and Caroline McGrath both come from farming backgrounds. They are thankful for the way it has taught them to appreciate the land and animals and instilled good work ethics.
Along with their own farm, they also support six other small, local, family farms. All farms are certified organic, all cows are 100% grass-fed, and all cows have been tested to carry the A2/A2-casein protein gene.
To Tom and Caroline, farming is way more than a career, it’s their whole being. Their approach is old fashioned, with all hands-on deck, working together as a “Family Farmstead”. They strive to care for their family of 6 and their farm the way God cares for them, and they're grateful for the opportunity to produce something worth sharing. They products are farm crafted with love and blessings from their little family to yours.
