Spend Saturday of Mother's Day weekend hanging out with the mommy cows that give you milk! See first-hand how your food is grown, and chat with those that produce it and enjoy it with you.

Wagon & Pony Rides

(10:30am-12pm & 1:30-3pm)

Take a hay ride around the pasture on a horse-drawn wagon that fits about 20 people. Your kids take a pony ride on a pony powered mini-buggy, guided by the farmers' kids.


Talk: Introduction to Natural Beekeeping & the Importance of Pollinators

(11am-12pm)

Lamar from Welsh Mountain Apiaries will cover how honey is made, how we make different kinds of honey, what’s involved in beekeeping, the importance of pollinators, and what can we do to help pollinator health in our community. 


Eat Lunch Under the Tent in the Pasture

(12-1pm)

Hot family-style lunch will be served, featuring Miller's Bio Farm's natural foods! It will align with the Weston A. Price Foundation's Nourishing Traditions diet. It's sure to be nutritious AND delicious. Yup, dessert will be served, too!


Talk: Myth or Truth? Straight Answers About Raw A2/A2 Dairy

(1:30-2:15pm)

Marie from Miller's Bio Farm will discuss some common misconceptions about raw dairy and A2/A2 dairy. This includes how it's made, health benefits, legal issues, and how marketing can be confusing. Get the real facts, and become an educated consumer.

Eat Snacks in the Packing Room

Check out where your order is packed and eat some snacks while you're at it. Sample our cheeses, salami, and milk.


See the Animals & the Farm

Spend time with the cows at pasture, hang out at our little farm animal "petting zoo", tour the facilities, and chat with the farmer and the Miller's Bio Farm staff.


Activity Tables

We'll be making flower crowns for you or our mommy cows on Mother's Day. You'll have the opportunity to milk a cow by hand. And, we'll have a Miller's challenge - a blind milk tasting. Which milk will come out on top?

What should I wear?

Wear clothes you are willing to get dirty or shoes that can step in a cowpie.


Is the event inside or outside?

The event is basically 100% outside, so prepare for the weather!


How can I prepare if I'm bringing kids?

Kids are absolutely welcome and are encouraged to explore and play on the farm. Please know that all children must be accompanied by an adult.

If you are bringing kids, it is recommended that you also bring a change of clothes and shoes for them. There is a sandbox and plenty of healthy dirt to play in at the farm.


Where can I stay in the area?
