Our ice cream should last up to 1 year in the freezer. But, of course, once it's opened there are so many variables that can affect shelf life (contaminants getting in, etc). It should last at least 1 month in the freezer once it's opened.

Your cats & dogs will love licking our ice cream on its own in a bowl, especially on a hot summer day. You can also use it as a topper, adding a scoop on kibble or wet food. Or, add some extra enrichment by feeding it on a lick mat or toy.

Ice cream for cats and dogs? What's up with that?
We believe that your whole family should get the best quality, most nutrient-dense, safest foods available. That’s why our pet food is made in the same way that we would prepare food for ourselves - with simple high quality ingredients, a straightforward process, and extreme attention to detail.

Our ice cream is made simply with an old fashioned recipe. Here's how we do it:
1. We mix the raw cream, raw egg yolks, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt until thoroughly combined.
2. We put the ihe ice cream mix in our ice cream churn. It takes about 13 minutes to slowly freeze into fluffy ice cream. 
3. We put the ice cream into containers and put it in the freezer immediately.

The ice cream is packaged in HDPE plastic, which is the most environmentally stable of all plastics. It does not contain BPA, phthalates, heavy metals, harmful fumes, or allergens. But all plastic has the potential to leach chemicals.
