The Farm Famous Clean Chocolate Syrup

What goes better with raw milk then homemade chocolate syrup!? The answer is nothing besides cookies. 😉This clean and simple ingredient chocolate syrup is an absolute farm favorite. Drizzle it on ice cream, whip up some raw chocolate milk, drizzle on some apples and peanut butter, the possibilities are sweet!

Ingredients
- (3/4 cup) Maple Syrup, 1 Pint (Glass)
- (pinch) Fine Pink Himalayan Salt, 1lb
- (1 Tablespoon) Homemade Vanilla, 4oz
- (1 cup) Water
- (1 cup) Cocoa Powder or Cacao Powder
Directions
- In a medium sauce pan combine water, cacao or cocoa and maple syrup.
- Bring everything to a boil over medium/low heat.
- Boil for 5 minutes whisking constantly.
- Add in the vanilla & salt.
- The chocolate will start to thicken as it reduces. Remove from heat.
- Add to chocolate sauce to a glass jar, let it cool.
- Cover and add to the fridge. It will thicken more as it cools.
Makes roughly a pint and a half of sauce!
