10lb - Beef Pet Food (Whole Prey Diet)

Our pasture raised, 100% grass fed beef cattle are ground whole, with the hide and intestines removed. It contains ground beef with ground heart, liver, tongue, kidney, green tripe, and coarsely ground bones (some pieces may be on the larger side). Then, it's immediately frozen when fresh.

Our beef pet food is nearly a complete diet. With a few small additions, it can be a raw whole prey diet. 

A whole prey diet is composed on about 80% muscle meat & fat, 10% offal/organs, and 10% soft bone. Our beef pet food is very close at about 90% muscle meat, 5% bone, and 5% organs.

So, you could feed 18 parts of our beef pet food alongside 1 part added bones and 1 part added organs for a complete diet. For example, if you feed your pet 20oz of raw food per day, you would feed 18oz of beef pet food, 1oz of additional bone, and 1oz of additional organs for a complete whole prey diet.

Yes! Our beef pet food can be fed on top of kibble, canned, or cooked foods. Any amount of raw meat and bones in your pet's life is a benefit to their health and well being!

Yes! Pop the frozen (or partially thawed) beef pet food out of the container and cut into portions with a big sturdy knife. This is especially useful for smaller pets that only eat a little bit per day. Those portions can be stored in an airtight bag in the freezer. Take out one portion at a time to thaw and feed as needed.

Keep beef pet food in the freezer for up to 12 months. Put in the fridge a day before feeding to thaw. Once thawed, it will last 2-3 days in the fridge. 

Our products are made in small batches, and the farm does its best to maintain consistency, but it can vary from batch to batch. Plus, since our beef is pasture raised and 100% grass fed, the flavor and color varies with the seasons and the weather. And finally, since we don’t use preservatives, colors, or flavors, all of that will change from batch to batch.
