The Nitty Gritty Details

+
Keep Pure Chicken for Pets in the freezer for up to 6 months. Put in the fridge a day before feeding to thaw. Once thawed, it will last up to 2 days in the fridge.

You can portion the chicken pet food, too! Pop the frozen (or partially thawed) chicken pet food out of the container and cut into portions with a big sturdy knife. This is especially useful for smaller pets that only eat a little bit per day. Those portions can be stored in an airtight bag in the freezer. Take out one portion at a time to thaw and feed as needed.
+
Our Pure Chicken for Pets can be fed on top of kibble, canned, or cooked foods. Any amount of raw meat and bones in your pet's life is a benefit to their health and well being!

Our Pure Chicken for Pets is NOT a complete diet... but it can be used as part of one. A whole prey diet is composed on about 80% muscle meat & fat, 10% offal/organs, and 10% soft bone. Our Pure Chicken for Pets is about 65% muscle meat, 30% bone, and 5% organs.

So, you could feed this chicken pet food alongside additional muscle meat and organs for a complete diet. For example, if you feed your pet about 19oz of raw food per day, you would feed 16oz of pure chicken for pets, 2.5oz of muscle meat, and 0.8oz of organs for a complete whole prey diet. This could be served in one meal or multiple meals/snacks throughout the day.

*It is not recommend that you cook this food before feeding, as cooked bones are not healthy for pets.
