As the seasons allow, our cows are raised in the open pasture or field. They are 100% grass-fed and finished, which means they only eat their natural diet of grasses and what they forage on pasture. In the colder months, they have hay and free choice organic nutrients in the barn.
Our cows are NEVER supplemented with grain feed. Our goal is to raise the healthiest and happiest animals possible!

What breed are your cows?
Our beef cows are Black Angus.
Why is grass-fed beef more nutritious than conventional meat?
Grass-fed beef is considered healthier than grain-fed beef because it contains more omega-3 fatty acids, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and antioxidants, while also being lower in total fat.
Do your cows get mRNA vaccines?
Nope! At Miller's, it's a hard no for mRNA vaccines. None of our animals have or will get them. While we're on the topic, none of our farmers vaccinate their animals at all!
What are the "spices" listed in the ingredients?
This recipe is an Italian family recipe passed down for generations. For that reason, the exact spices used are kept a secret. However, please be assured the "spices" are simply ground herbs and seeds.
Are the peppers and spices organic?
No, they aren't certified organic. Our Italian salami maker imports them from Italy, where the best of the best flavors can be found. The peppers and spices are grown in Europe to EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) standards. And, that means that there are fewer chemical residues and additives compared to American spices.
Is your salami probiotic?
Yes, it is! Our salami is made the old fashioned way, with fermentation. It gives it that old fashioned flavor (so yummy) and also means that there are live cultures in the final product. This makes our salami easier to digest and healthier for the gut.
