Sugar Free Beef Hot Dogs & Spelt Buns

Our beef hot dogs should last up to a year in the freezer. Once thawed, they'll keep for about 2 weeks in the fridge before they spoil. Keep in mind that, once the package is opened, there are so many variables that can affect shelf life (contaminants getting in, etc).The spelt hot dog buns should last 4-6 days at room temperature. They can be in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks or frozen up to 6 months and then thawed before eating.

Hot dogs cook up fast and are super versatile. Of course, the classic way to eat a hot dog is on a bun smothered with mustard (or ketchup) and piled high with sauerkraut...yum! But, there's lots of ways to eat hot dogs. Try them seared and sliced with some Mac and cheese. Or, slice and wrap with puff pastry for pigs in a blanket!

Are the hot dogs made from your beef cattle?
Yes! Our beef hot dogs are made with our 100% grass-fed beef, from the same cattle that the rest of our beef collection is from.

Is the milk powder in the hot dogs A2/A2 and 100% grass-fed?
Nope, the milk powder may contain both A1 and A2 beta-casein proteins. And, it comes from certified organic farms that do not feed 100% grass.

Our beef hot dogs are made locally and simply with our 100% grass-fed beef. Here's how we do it:
1. We grind our 100% grass-fed beef with sea salt, spices, milk powder, and celery juice powder.
2. The flavorful ground meat is packed into the casings, twisted, and cut into links. 
3. The hot dogs are packaged, 6 per pack, and are immediately frozen.

The beef hot dogs contains celery juice powder, which contains naturally occurring nitrates and nitrites.

This recipe is a proprietary blend specially made by our salami maker. For that reason, the exact spices used are kept a secret. However, please be assured the "spices" are simply ground herbs and seeds. They are grown in Europe to EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) standards.

The hot dogs are packaged in HDPE plastic, which is the most environmentally stable of all plastics. It does not contain BPA, phthalates, heavy metals, harmful fumes, or allergens. But all plastic has the potential to leach chemicals.
