- Servings: 4
Ingredients
- (4 pieces) Bread (sourdough or flatbread)
- (4 eggs) 1 dozen - Brown Honest Yolk Chicken Eggs
- (1 cup, shredded) 8oz A2/A2 Mozzarella Pressed Cheese
- (2 Tbsp, melted) 1lb Raw Salted A2/A2 Butter
- (Your fav veggies/herbs) Toppings
- (to taste) Fine Pink Himalayan Salt, 1lb
- (1 small clove (optional for the butter sauce)) 8oz - White Garlic
Directions
Instructions
- Melt the grass-fed butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic (if using) and let it gently simmer for 2–3 minutes to infuse the flavor without burning the garlic.
- Place your bread slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Generously brush each piece with the warm garlic butter.
- Sprinkle the shredded A2/A2 Mozzarella Cheese onto each slice, creating a little circle "nest" in the center of the cheese to hold the egg in place.
- Carefully crack one pasture raised egg directly into the center of each cheese nest. Arrange the halved cherry tomatoes and a sprinkle of chopped basil around the egg (or add your favorite veggies).
- Pop into a preheated oven at 350°F for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the egg whites are set to your liking.
- Remove from the oven, top with extra fresh chopped herbs and a pinch of sea salt, slice, and enjoy while warm.
Note
