Ingredients
- (1 package) Philly Cheesesteak
- (1/2-1 cup) 8oz Raw Shredded A2/A2 Mild Cheddar Cheese
- (1 Tablespoon (for sautéing)) 1 pint - A2/A2 Ghee (Glass)
- (1 cup, sliced) Sweet Onions (2lb)
- (1 cup, sliced (any color)) Bell Pepper
- (1 cup, sliced (optional)) Cremini Mushrooms (8oz)
- (to taste) Fine Pink Himalayan Salt, 1lb
- (to taste) Black Pepper
- (1/4 teaspoon (optional)) Garlic Powder
Directions
1. Slice the sweet onion, bell pepper, and optional mushrooms so they are ready for the skillet.
2. Melt 1 TBSP of ghee in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onions, bell peppers, and optional mushrooms. Sauté for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized. Season with sea salt, black pepper, and optional garlic powder. Remove the cooked vegetables from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.
3. Cook the Beef (4–5 minutes): In the same hot skillet, add the 1 lb of Philly cheesesteak beef. Cook for 4- 5 minutes over medium-high heat.
4. Once the beef is fully cooked, add the sautéed vegetables back into the skillet and mix everything together until evenly combined and heated through.
5. Reduce the heat to low. Top the beef and vegetable mixture evenly with 1/2 to 1 cup of cheese. Cover the skillet with a lid for 2-3 minutes until the cheese is completely melted and bubbly. If your skillet is oven safe you can also pop it in the oven for 5-7 mins at 350F or until cheese is melted.Serve hot and enjoy!
