Ingredients

Directions

  1. Thaw your chicken tenders in a bowl of cold water, they should take around an hour.
  2. Soak your wooden skewers in water during this time as well, when you soak them they have less of a chance to catch on fire.
  3. In a blender or food processor add your basil and garlic, on low slowly add in your oil.
  4. Blend until smooth and emulsified or you can leave some chunks if you prefer more texture.
  5. Cut up your tenders, either in chunks or strips and place into a bowl with the basil mixture.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for a half an hour.
  7. Place the chicken pieces/strips on the skewers.
  8. Preheat your grill to 350-400F.
  9. Place your skewers on the grill and grill for about 15-20 minutes or until the meat reaches an internal temp of 165F.

Serve with your favorite summer veggies! Corn on the cob slathered in raw butter, fresh tomato, cucumber salad. The possibilities are endless!
