Pork Sun-Dried Tomato & Fresh Basil Sausage Links

Our sun-dried tomato and basil pork sausage comes frozen and vacuum-sealed to maintain freshness. For best use, store in the freezer for up to 1 year, or in the refrigerator for 3-5 days.

You can slow thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Or quick thaw in a bowl of cold water, changing the water every 20-30 minutes until thawed.

Throw the sausage on the grill for a juicy, charred flavor!

Our pigs are raised in the woods. In addition to the nuts and roots and other foraged foods they find solo, the pigs are fed lots of skim milk and a corn & soy free feed. The feed contains a blend of peas, fish meal, seashell flour, alfalfa meal, wheat middlings, kelp, probiotics, vitamins, and minerals.

Why is Miller's pork different from others?
Our pigs are raised in the woods and left to forage on their own. In addition to the foods they find, we also feed them a natural feed that's corn and soy free. We take pride in our heritage breeds, and our clean ingredients added to our pork products.

What are the "spices" listed in the ingredients?
Our salami and specialty sausage maker takes great pride in his recipes, which he's developed for decades. For that reason, the exact spices used are kept a secret. However, please be assured the "spices" are simply ground herbs and seeds.

Our sun-dried tomato and basil pork sausage is packaged in HDPE plastic, which is the most environmentally stable of all plastics. It does not contain BPA, phthalates, heavy metals, harmful fumes, or allergens. But all plastic has the potential to leach chemicals.The pork casings are not from our pigs. They are simply hog intestines (no weird lab produced ingredients like vegetarian casings), but they are from conventional pigs. Other than our forest raised, chemical free pork, the ingredients used in the sausage are conventional. The blended oils listed in the ingredients are unknown but are likely seed oils like canola and sunflower oils.The citric acid is a lab produced ingredient. Conventional corn or wheat may have been used in its production.
