Turkey hearts are best cooked simply.
Either cook them hot and fast or low and slow to keep them tender.
We like to lightly fry them in fat for 7-10 minutes until just cooked through then serve them with mashed potatoes and gravy.
They are also delicious when added to turkey stew or roasted low and slow in a covered dish with lots of butter.
