Maple Glazed Walnuts with Cinnamon Ghee

Maple glazed walnuts with warming hints of cinnamon and vanilla are a delicious sweet snack made with pure maple syrup. These nuts can be enjoyed by hand or can easily elevate a charcuterie board, salads, roasted veggies, ice cream, desserts or yogurt. They also make great gifts!

Ingredients
- (2 cups) Organic Pre-Soaked Walnuts, 8oz
- (1/2 cup) Maple Syrup, 1 quart (Glass)
- (1 Tbsp) 1 - 8oz A2/A2 Cinnamon Ghee
- (2 tsp) Homemade Vanilla, 4oz
- (1/4 tsp or to taste) Cinnamon Powder, 4oz
- (1/4-1/2 tsp) Fine Celtic Sea Salt, 8oz
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking sheet.
- Add ghee, maple syrup, salt, and cinnamon to a medium pan over low heat.
- Whisk and warm lightly until evenly combined (1-2 minutes).
- Add walnuts and vanilla and stir well so the nuts are evenly coated (1-2 minutes).
- Spread the nuts on the baking sheet in a single layer, drizzling over any syrup that’s left in the pan.
- Roast on the middle rack for 8 to 12 minutes, stirring every 2 to 3 minutes (it’a very important to stir them or they will easily burn).
- Bake until browned, shiny and deliciously fragrant.
- Let the walnuts cool completely. They will get crispy as they cool.

*These walnuts can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks and one month in the freezer in a tightly sealed jar or bag.
**Pecans can be substituted for walnuts. Baking times may vary if substituting.
