Honey has a very long shelf life. When mixed with cinnamon, it should last up to 12 months (or more) in the pantry. But, of course, once it's opened there are so many variables that can affect shelf life (contaminants getting in, etc).

Our creamed cinnamon honey is a delicious alternative to jam. Goes well on any crackers, bread, pancakes, and even on mashed sweet potatoes! It can also be used as a glaze on meats or to sweeten your yogurt or oats.

Is the honey ever heated?
The honey is absolutely raw, never heated in any way.
Does the honey contain pesticides or GMO pollen? Sure, bees can fly 5 miles from their hive. But, they're efficient and won't go farther than they need to. Since our bees are kept in areas with plenty of non-GMO flowers growing on chemical-free land, there shouldn't be any pesticides or GMOs in the honey.
Are the bees fed corn syrup? Nope, nothing artificial for these bees. They are moved to areas with flowers so they can harvest nectar as much as possible. If any additional food is needed, they are fed a natural sugar (never anything corn derived).
What is used for mite control? Formic acid is used for mite control. It's an organic acid and naturally present in honey.

The process of making creamed cinnamon honey is straightforward and starts with amazing raw honey. Here's how it's done:
1. Place the raw honey in a mixer bowl with a whip attachment.
2. Whip on medium speed for a long time (up to an hour) until the honey turns white and creamy.
3. Stir in organic Ceylon cinnamon and jar it.
