Homemade Chocolate Milk

Skip the additives that are in store-bought chocolate milk. Make it at home with your favorite milk and stay hydrated! The farmer makes his chocolate milk by making chocolate syrup from scratch and mixing it with milk. Or, make it even easier by using the farm's Chocolate Syrup (basically the same ingredients either way). A great use for raw milk that's souring (especially for kids).

Ingredients
- (1 cup) Water
- (1 cup) Cocoa Powder
- (1/2 tsp) Fine Celtic Sea Salt, 8oz
- (1 cup) Maple Syrup, 1 quart (Glass)
- (1 gallon) 1 gallon - A2/A2 Whole Heritage Milk
Directions
- Heat water, cocoa powder, and salt in a pot. Stir until smooth.
- Mix in maple syrup. Voila! Chocolate syrup!
- To make chocolate milk, mix 1 cup of syrup to 1 gallon of milk.
Tips:
- The chocolate syrup can also be used on top of ice cream, yogurt, or in many other ways.
- Can sub with raw milk. It's a great use for souring raw milk!
- Want the recipe to be even easier? Mix our Chocolate Syrup with a 1/2 gallon of milk. It's the same ingredients... with a touch of vanilla.
