Ingredients
- (4) Egg Yolks
- (1/3 cup) Maple Syrup, 1 quart (Glass)
- (2 cups) 1 quart - Raw A2 Milk (Glass)
- (1 cup) 1 pint - Raw Heavy A2 Cream (Glass)
- (1 tsp) Nutmeg (or other spices of your choosing)
- (3 oz) bourbon or rum (optional)
Directions
To Make Raw Eggnog
- Whisk the ingredients together. Done!
To Make Cooked Eggnog
- Whisk the ingredients together in a pot.
- Put on the stove over medium heat. Stir occasionally when cooler and more often when hotter.
- Bring to a simmer. Remove from heat. Serve warm or cold.
Tips
To get a fuller eggnog, beat the egg yolks until they lighten in color. Then add the other ingredients.
To get a frothy eggnog, beat 4 egg whites until soft peaks form. Then stir into your finished eggnog.
To be extra festive, serve topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. And, hey, why not add a candy cane, too?
