Who doesn’t love a slow cooker meal? You can throw everything into your slow cooker and head off to work for the day and come home to the most luxurious dinner. This slow cooker pork and sweet potato stew is a family favorite. Young kids and adults will appreciate the lightly spiced pork, creamy sweet potatoes and the most delicious rich broth that ties everything together. Serve this with some homemade cornbread or beef tallow fried corn chips for a nourishing, filling and tasty meal.

Ingredients
- (1-1/2 - 2 lb)) Pork Shoulder Roast (Bone-In)
- (2 teaspoons) Paprika
- (1 teaspoon) Chili Powder
- (1 teaspoon) Onion Powder
- (1 teaspoon) Garlic Powder
- (¼ teaspoon) Ground Cumin
- (⅛ teaspoon) Ground Cinnamon
- (1 teaspoon) Fine Celtic Sea Salt, 8oz
- (½ teaspoon) Black Pepper
- (1 Tablespoon) Fresh Lime Juice
- (1 large, peeled and cut into ½ inch chunks) Sweet Potatoes (2lb)
- (14 ounce jar) Diced Tomatoes with their Juices
- (2 cups) 1 quart - Chicken Bone Broth
- (1 cup) Cilantro
Directions
- Mix the paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, cinnamon, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Add the lime juice and stir.
- Place the pork in a 6 quart slow cooker and rub evenly with the spice mixture.
- Add the sweet potato cubes, tomatoes, and broth.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
- After cooking, shred the pork with two forks and return to the pot.
- Stir in the cup of cilantro and season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
- Serve with a dollop of Greek yogurt and lime juice.
