A bird's lifestyle has a direct impact on the quality of the egg it produces.
We make sure that our birds are fed a nutrient-rich diet and always have access to real pasture to forage in.
Egg quality does vary with the season, but we aim to produce the most nutrient-rich eggs possible year-round.
As you probably know, there's a national chicken egg shortage. That situation is now affecting our farm, as we're getting new people who need eggs. We are giving preference and reserving eggs for people with subscription orders that already had eggs on them. Chicken eggs will be in and out of inventory probably until the spring. But, we should have plenty of duck eggs, which are delicious and more nutritious.
